1 lb baby clams
4 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 gloves of minced garlic
2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley
1 14 oz can peeled La Valle Tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1 lb Spaghetti
Place clams in large pot with water. holding underwater, clean each one with a food brush to remove sand. Transfer to a large pot, cover and steam 2 minutes or until shells open. Remove clams from shells leaving a few to garnish plates. Place oil in a large saucepan. Add garlic and brown.
Add 1 tablespoon parsley and liquid from clams. When liquid has evaporated, add clams, peeled tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste. Cook 20-25 minutes, Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well. Toss with the sauce, garnish with parsley and reserved clams before serving.
