Fresh Garlic & Chive Linguine with Sicilian Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese

Garlic & Chive Linguine with Herbs & Mozzarella
Ingredients you will need:
2 Lbs. Fresh Garlic & Chive Linguine
4 oz. Plugra Unsalted Butter
3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Dried Basil
2 Tablespoons Dried Chives
2 Tablespoons Dried Parsley
1/2 Lb. Sicilian Sausage
Shredded Mozzarella (for garnishing)
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Salt & Pepper

Directions:
1) Fill a large stockpot with cold water, heat on high.
When your pasta water comes to a full boil, add a generous amount of Salt, stir,
then add 2 lbs of the Garlic Chive Linguine, gently pulling apart the nests as you add it to the water.
2.) Slice the casing off of the 1/2 Lb.Sicilian Sausage and in a large non-stick skillet on medium heat,
fry the sausage, breaking it up into small pieces with a fork.
3.) After your Sausage is brown, turn your heat down to a simmer and pour about 3 Tablespoons
of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in your skillet along with 4 oz. of Unsalted Plugra Butter.
4.) Once your Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the Butter is incorporated into your Sausage mixture, add 2 Tablespoons of Dried Basil,
2 Tablespoons of Dried Chives, and 2 tablespoons of Dried Parsley. Stir well, then add 1 Cup of Grated Parmesan.
Add some Pepper to taste. Stir well, and simmer till Pasta is done.
6.) Drain your Linguine and return to the stockpot then pour over your Sausage mixture and toss together.
7.) Plate up your individual serving plates. First lay a good handful of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese on the bottom of the plate,
then put your pasta on top, then another good handful of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese on top too. ENJOY!
